Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     We were playing in the back yard at night and ran by me hitting the inside of my left shin with his left knee.....thought I was gonna die.....that really really hurt...about 45 minutes later when I got up to my room, I looked at it and I had a bump on my shin almost an inch high and about two inches in diameter...:shock:....the next morning, the bump had gone down to only about a quarter to 3/8 of an inch high..My shin is so very sore! I think it will take up to six weeks to get 90% back to normal. And of course, he was not yelled at...he did not mean to do it....it was really rather funny as he could not figure why I was hopping around and whimpering...:lol: I guess that is just one of the hazards of having larger dogs. :D

    I wonder if he hurt himself hitting you? That's quite a bump! And, of course you did the right thing by not dishing out any anger. I can picture Domenic staring at you thinking, "What the hell?"

    He did not yelp and showed no signs of any discomfort, either that night or since....I have rubbed his impacted knee and watch him for any signs of pain or discomfort and saw none.

    Yeah, he kept bring his toy back to me and just could not understand why I would not play with him anymore.....:lol:

    He is really hard to get mad at.....plus I am such a softy when it comes to dogs. I just think it is amazing that he could do that much damage to my shin. All my other somewhat similar incidents with my previous large dogs involved them hitting me in the face or chin with their rock hard heads! :shock: :rofl:

    I get my "dog injuries" in the winter, when I'm walking the dogs, hit a patch of ice, and fly into the air, landing on my ass. :lol:
