yes, until I got to the "install air conditioning" task.

teh pool is 3 houses down ... so I guess life is pretty good. a pool is damn expensive to operate.

When I first started working for the City in Feb. '69 I was a lifeguard at the main municipal pool.....I know all of the work and $ required for operating a pool.....and that is why I never had one at any of my houses.

 

yep. the season is way longer down there too. here we have the problem of running it all week - only to have it rain on the weekend!

I did that for three summers (March thru October)....was head LG after the first summer, so had to do all of the scheduling of the other guards, etc. as well as oversee the operations, supplies, ordering. Was an interesting job except for the 12 and 13 year old girls...:shock:....after that I went to work in the Public Works Department Engineering Office.

I can imagine the youngsters would be a bit much sometimes.

 

Somewhat like the little girl in the vid.......only the 12 and 13 year old developing.....some very much so. :?
