Eh.....its just various stresses from different aspects of life making a house call at the same time.

My father has been a source since my grandmother passed away. He is a child in a grown mans body. Lived with his parents his entire life. Never able to leave the nest, hold a job or keep a marriage going. When my grandparents died they left a trust fund so that he could be taken care of. Problem is, he left my uncle (dads brother) as the executor. He is an educated man that looks down upon anyone that isnt at his status level in life. That coupled with the animosity he harbors against his brother for never doing anything with his life, causes nothing but aggravation when trying to get his help in any way to take care of my father.

Also, my best friend of 20 yrs is on some stupid shit right now. He is dating one of my exes. This is a girl who has serious mental issues as well as drug issues. She is a liar, even going as far as to say that I left her pregnant and she had no choice but get an abortion. Not true at all by the way. She has a son with my name?? Not sure why as no one in her family is named that. Regardless, her and my wife have issues, stemming from me, as well as before me. As a result wifey got angry at my friend and gave him shit. An argumnt ensued at which point she said that she can not deal with him while he is with her. Anyway, I spoke to him already about it and told him where I stand, but i respect his ability to choose. A week later this guy is talking to me sideways. disrespecting me and being a douche. I tried to explain that whatever beef he has with wifey has nothing to do with me and he cant accept that.

 

Family issues (your dad's), I have no comment other than grrrrrrrrr... I know, the chicken shit's way out.

That's why I live alone (actually I have a roommate, but she doesn't create havoc in my life. Her friends do). Am I lonely? No. And I can tell everyone to fuck off and they respect that.

I actually do enjoy my home life. Wifey is the greatest woman I have ever met, in every possible way. Then theres the kids my one true accomplishment in this fucked up life i have and still do lead. Never thought i could ever be "that" guy, saddled up with a wife, kids, home, bills, responsiblity. I can honestly say that my life has never felt more complete.

 

I envy you that. I truly do. I was almost here and then....

It really is Scribe. The twists and turns are not over for you yet. There are still some chapters left in your story. One never knows what is potentially waiting just around that next bend in the road. Believe me when I tell you that I am not the guy who sets goals and strides towards them, im the guy that steps in shit, while walking around thinking "fuck the world, dont ask me for shit"

I've been trottin' through shit since forever it seems, but the thing is, I don't resent it like you do. You have a sense of anger that's absent in me. Not to say that I don't get pissed at life's curveballs, it just doesn't linger. No time for that shit. Anger has never served me well.

 

Yes you are right. Anger has been ever present since a very young age. I resent EVERYTHING. Doesnt serve me well either. Its my cross to bear. I have accepted that much at least.

im delivering food. yes i get paid for it. i just meant that some with much more labor or mental intensive jobs may not consider it much of a job. u have to remember with me that i am sarcastic and as scribe pointed out resentful. dont take everything i say at face value
