The landscape kept changing whenever it even hinted at familiarity. The university, which doesn't exist, was situated on the grounds of Audobon Park in New Orleans, which I suddenly recognized, only to have the cityscape change on me.

 

Landscapes and settings change often in dreams much like your thoughts change from subject to subject......interesting that they should change once things got familiar.

 

It's weird.

 

It dawned on me later that the burrito place I was looking for was actually a sandwich shop I used to frequent in Dallas Texas and the location I had envisioned was on a street in Oxnard California.

 

Do you often have dreams like that?

 

I wouldn't say that dream was typical but it sort of represents the kind of dreams I have that I can recall. That sort of hodge podge of locales was unusual.
