Yep, about an hour ago.

 

Beautiful. Such a light show almost every morning, wow.

 

Actually, clouds are pretty rare here and they really add drama to the sunrise. On a normal clear morning you get a line of gold limning the mountains and a just a plain blue sky above it. Not nearly as beautiful.

 

Still better than the gray soup we have here almost every morning.

 

That would depress me right quick. Growing up in the Midwest that was typical. I can't imagine not having sunshine everyday now. We probably have 3 overcast days per year on average.

 

It's still a big deal here when we have a few sunny days in a row. Everyone starts to get out their skimpy tops and flip flops at 12°C.

 

Happens in Vegas too. People visit here from somewhere east in January, where the temp is around 0C. They think it's summer here so they wander around in shorts and flip flops... and then the sun goes down, the temperature plummets and they've wandered several miles from their hotel.

 

I swear, people never check the weather forecast. And it's available on their mobile!
