After a long and slow breath, he moves toward the gentleman gripping the large revolver....keeping his hands in full view and allowing his coat to slowly separate and slide to each side.....Now coming to a halt some 6 feet short of the table at which the gravel voiced gentleman sat....and while looking him dead in the eye....Thore softly utters.....HOW THE FUCK ARE YA GRIMMSY?

Long day here...up at 5 AM to get wife to have medical procedure/test done (every thing went well with good results)....then to a major funeral for an old and dear friend that took 4 hours (actual service was long, but procession to cemetery took longer as he was a past Police Chief here...a WWII army-air force vet so procession was over 100 police and military vehicles.....I think you get the idea. Long day here and glad it is over.

the confident manor he spoke did nothing to throw grims off his game, he drew a long slow pull of his cigar, the tip burning bright red for a moment then, slowly moved it from his lips, the gun remaining still as rock as the smoke escape from his mouth "well im diong just fuck dandy thore he said taking a moment to pull another long slow draw from his cigar then savoring the flavor before letting roll out "her you've become a damned celebrity all of a sudden, i mean theres not one fucker from the outfit that isnt out looking for you, and here you are, right here in my god dammed study" he set the cigar down and picked up the whiskey bringing it to his mouth, "im just fucking excited as hell to get to spend a moment with such a popular guy!" and sipped. "Se" he inquired waving the gun a bit as he spoke "What ah... why have you chosen to come here and get shot?"

 

oh yes, the guest list should be pretty packed.
there will be some dead wood if you will. you know em, but hey just dont hang with them, i imagine they more or less stay to there little corner with there own group.

Glad to hear about the wife, sad about your friend. Sounds like a hell of a send off. Pageantry can become a bit mind numbing after a while though. Understood.

Not bad here. Spent the morning pulling moldy drywall out of a bath in anticipation of a remodel. That won't start until tomorrow soonest though. Just chillin' for now.

 

Thore raises his eyes to his upper left, then slowly pans the room. Making a soft sound while clearing his throat, he begins to speak. "Getting shot was not on my initial agenda for this evening's activities. I mean no harm and carry no grudge. It seems I am motivated by extreme dispare generated by excessive boredom.....I am just seeking some good company along with entertaining conversation. Should this place and you not meet my expectations, then I shall take my leave and continue my crusade."
