Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     This is pretty much the point in my questioning earlier. I agree we need one on here. I think "May 5th, 2012" would still work the best, since the limit for characters in a title is quite a lot for it to not be a concern. :2cent:

    We're discussing in the mod forum, Rams. But my personal opinion (mainly re the celeb forum, where dates are most frequently posted) is to leave it as is, rather than create an extra rule that creates more work and hassle. I know that the date format I use is different to what Americans use, which is why I would put 'Mar 13' instead of 13/3/12 (or 3/13/12). But I know from experience that title space is often at a premium and I frequently have to edit out parts of title when putting 'adds' or 'HQ adds' in a title. Often, I take out the year, as that is less important than the month/day in the context of the titles.

    But we'll see what the end result of discussion is and advise. Thanks for the input.
