It's always something to consider.

The people who came from Europe to settle this continent brought guns with them because they were a tool for hunting. Back in those days a pistol was as rare a find as a 1 pound nugget of gold laying on the ground. They were basically useless for anything other than dueling, and few people did that. At any rate, guns are very much a part of this nations culture, even though it has made the switch from being a mostly rural society into a mostly urban one. So, like it or not, and I'm fairly neutral on the subject, that's the way it is here. I'm a gun owner, but I'm not a vociferous gun rights advocate.

Apparently a lot of countries have a "gun culture".......I didn't know that.

That honestly made me laugh......I can't explain why......but I just think it's hilarious.......a Russian selling a highly dangerous weapon in English.....to Americans.

 

I don't think they should be universally available, basically because of what Jack so eloquently stated above.

When I said giving guns to monkeys I did not mean they would go on a rampage and kill people....I'd like to be very clear on that....Indians in general are not violent people......they are just bloody stupid.......they are the kind of people who would fiddle with gun for five minutes then pointing it at themselves ask "what does this button do?".

 

That would not hold it's own against Mr. Russian.

 

Just to be clear, those guns are highly illegal except for the few who possess very restrictive and extremely hard to acquire licenses

Yeah, I would guess some sort of military training
