    go to device manager (control panel/system) find the network thingy, rightclick choose preferences.... fuck that didn't work

    I hit a dead end there too....all I can do is update drivers.....did that and they said the current driver is 1) working properly, and 2) is up to date...:?

    go to charing center, then on the left there are a thing called "change settings for network card"
    then rightclick on the icon that comes up, select properties. then choose "Configure" button, the driver flap and last update driver

    crap.. then I doubt it that problem.. but you could delete it from the device manager, then restart and it will find something new, and start over from there. then you will absolutely need the driver for it
