Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Have done most everything directed to do on the Windows Network Diagnostics....nothing works....nate at bottom says there may be a problem with one or more network adapters on this computer.....so now I guess I will look for the disks that came with the laptop four years ago and see what I can do......

    No...firewalls are on the PCs and laptop.

    I have found the disks that came with the laptop....some are obviously not what I need, but to remain

    Reinstallation DVD - Windows Vista Home Premium 32BIT, and

    Drivers and utilities

    TO, any ideas which one would have the network adapters on them?

    first guess is "Drivers and utilities" even though vista and w7 isn't that far apart, a reistallation dvd probably won't give up any drivers without doing a full reinstallation.
