Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     My first house had wooden floors through out.....sanded, stained, and multi-coats of varnish....all by myself and all by hand.....just had a small hand vibration sander. Took for ever to complete, but looked pretty good when done....that was 38 years ago...:lol:

    I know it is still a lot of work......my second house, two-story, had oak floors. I never messed with them as they were in good shape. My next house and the one I am currently in, I designed and had built a little over 20 years ago....ceramic tile mostly in the downstairs....no maintenance so far other than the routine cleaning....I hate maintenance! :lol:
