    Yep, GM was the part that fucked Saab. There were some from Chine who would help but GM told "No", scared that some tech. went to China

    no, still as shitty everywhere. though it's more noticeable that you can't get up a slippery hill here in Sweden. besides that.. as I said before it's not a Volvo. the last Volvo was called V90, and the production stopped 5 February 1998.

    In some regards it makes sense to guard against tech going to China. Since they don't have any resemblance of labor laws they really can out compete in most industrial sectors. If they got their hands on some tech and then started to produce cars, they probably could sell them for half of what everyone else sells them for. Then China would own the whole world instead of just half of it :biglaugh:

    I have always owned/driven Volvos, but since I needed 4wd I switched to Subaru. only times I get stuck now is when I do something stupid

    they are pretty reliable too.. the only thing is the rust, but mechanically they are almost indestructible.
