    An interesting day here so far....was vacuuming earlier and notice the machine was not making its normal sound.....seems the rotor brush was not spinning.....long story short I disassembled the power foot, etc. and made sure every moving part was moving freely and all electrical connects were clean and secure....the brush spun, but not as normal. I think a long string pulled from a hook rug bound the rotor brush and damage its drive motor. Should be under warranty, but their service chat is closed on Sundays. I used that vacuum daily, so I ordered a new foot assembly for $75 that included tax and shipping.

    So, that is my start of today...:lol:

    Sorry Dude! Don't get me started on Vacuums. Those heavy handed housekeepers of mine will tear up a Sherman Tank with a soap bubble. Every week we have to repair or replace one.

    I had housekeeping under me when I was Public Works Director.....I know what you mean.....I "convinced" them to take better care of the equipment as I bought what they wanted, but when they broke it, I had them use a WWII surplus equivalent (not as efficient, heavy, much harder to use) until the broken unit was repaired and returned to service. They still had to meet their production quotas and I was in no hurry to fix/return the broken units. :lol:
