I should be as organized as Thore about running back ups. I've lost some really good stuff over the years.

anyone wanna do me the favor of getting some more firewood for me, or some female company to keep me warm tonight?

 

All I had to do was deactivate it in the BIOS.....that way all my alpha designations on the drives remained the same...just no D:

 

I have really just lost one complete pornomovie.. due to a hdd crashing on me, but it really wasn't any good so it doesn't matter.. well I have lost a few photos I took once too, but that was just because I accidentally deleted the whole folder they were in.

but yeah I should really set up a good backup routine. the one I have on my Server is good, it uses 3 drives, all with the same content on them, so if one of them die I still have 2 drives left. then it's just to pull the faulty drive out and put a new one in and in a few minutes it'll be updated

 

guess I'll have to do it myself then.. brb

 

It really is easy, Throbbn. I got one of those small external (USB) drives that came with some pretty good automated back up software....it back up what I told it to every morning at 3 AM.....and it check to see what files have either been changed or added for the back up...doesn't waste time copying identical files over.... It only cost about $80.

I should take a pic of Amelie and post it as she is about 75% in her winter finest....has not been clipped since July.

she's great right up to the very elite level. she just doesn't have a huge shot/weapon to beat the sports premier players. she's doesn't have the power game. which is surprising, because she ain't tiny.

although she hasn't shown it, Ana Ivanovic has the power game to win tournaments (although she hasn't shown it). The difference is that Caro is consistent ... and Ana is wildly inconsistent (even within the same match).
