i was listening to a show on the way into town today
it was a show about peace and how to achieve it
the guy was brilliant.
if either side wants to win, and if they cant win want to assure the other side does not win as well, you can never have progress
that describes my country perfectly

he says you have to be able to recognize yourself in a relationship with your enemy. he said without that there is no hope for achieving peace. makes sense i guess
