    Next sotw (137) will start some time in early January 2012, I can't remember the theme that GUI chose last week when he won, but I'll update with that info, and also the time later on.

    helium, you came in as a very worthy second, but an rendomly chosen phunner made the call, and it seems the winner is me.. and that with a sig I don't even remember making, though it seems that I made it for week 109 with a gothic theme.

    Seems like it's just a girl model, usually in provocative attire. Often times Asian, but not by requirement. Apparently, lots of Japanese actresses start out as erotic models...(duh).

    So, sotw is just pick a hot Asian model in skimpy clothes?

    No Cy, only if they're a gravure idol.. I didn't suggest "hot Asian model in skimpy clothes" ;)

    I worded the suggestion specifically to try to get the entries to be as consistent as possible WRT the theme (because of problems with previous SOTWs) so that's why it says a gravure idol, not gravure idols for example.

    Ok. I think I got it covered. I had to wiki the term and it didnt seem to specify even Asian, just provocatively dressed models. I grabbed some source pics off a gravure tribute site anyway so it wasnt an ordeal. :tup: thanks for clearing it up

    I'm having an idea.. what if we should change the sotw a little, and make it like the sig duels? everyone will provide an image alongside their sotw submission, and that image must be used by everyone in next weeks sotw.
