Me? Status quo. Or stagnant quo might be more appropriate.

However, I just thought of a good idea that might be worth some money provided someone hasn't already come with the same thing, in which case I'd gladly pay to purchase the fruit of the idea that I just not 10 minutes ago ideated.

 

the kid... hmmm well he is currently not all that employed
and my ground rules are that the Xbox stays at home until he is employed.
ill promptly smash it if it appears before he is employed.
he has to cover half. thats not asking all that much, its about 250 a month. so my rent is going to basically stay the same at 300 but ill have a garage and the master bedroom
yay me!

status quo is an illusion dood. its hard work hanging in there proper. in my opinion anyway
this new economy we have is not easy to master.
so if youve got some sort of idea, that you think might be the next best thing
go for it, i would love to have you so rich you could no longer find the time to bother with us..
however, im sure you still will
and that would make it all the better.

like a really rich chick that is still willing to suck a penis.

normally i would be home wondering if my wife was gonna

but tonight i have to finish some work for my office back in phoenix, so im here doing that. just stopped for the night in fact
ill finish it before monday if it kills me. and it wont

im drawing a 65 foot long truss. very fun stuff if your into this sort of thing. but for me its a challenge to stay focused
i start. draw a line, think i wonder if i can get autocad to automatically change colors of the line to the one i want without me actually touching it
spend an hour and a half on google and fucking with the menus till i mess up the program so much i have to settle with whatever it is its doing now
then i draw a line and think, wait i know, fiddle with the menus and one more long ass trip to google
then to the autocad site again for a possible quick fix becouse now when i select lines it will only draw an arc
then i figure out what i did, and draw the third line and think......


so yea, its a very time consuming process.

What really grabs me in those pics is how heavy my dad was. At 90, he's so frail (yet healthy) that seeing him back then is almost like looking at a stranger.

But looking at these pics (and thousands more) it all came rushing back. I was sorting through these photo rejects for about 3 hours last night.

BTW, the rejects number about 5400. That's about 5% of the total family album. My dad scanned over 123,000 slides taken over a period of 57 years to create a photographic history of his marriage and family from the early 1940's up until the early 2000's. Pretty fucking impressive. :shock:
