I work this week with the two biggest gossips of my team. At the moment they're sitting in the break room, drinking coffee, gossipping up a storm. They just closed the door so now they might talk about me. aranoid:

I was chatting with a guy the other night who's a project manager on the international airport under construction in Mumbai. He said he never wants to go back there ever again.

 

I was chatting with a guy at my work that over saw the glass plant built just outside of mumbai, he has been in 14 or 15 different countries, (south Africa, Israel, Brazil and such) and when i asked him were is the worst place he has ever been, he said without hesitation. Mumbai, ill quite if they try to send me back. I always ask the guys that travel for our company the same question, "worst place?" and they all say, India. every one.

 

I believe it. He always talks about how bad it stinks. He says the great metropolitan area has 40 million people and no sewer system. Imagine 40 million people eating curry every day with no sewer system.

I attempted to educate him to the "Profit and Loss" philosophy, explaining that at this point he was just waisting time he could be pursuing a better prospect. But he felt that my explanations warranted two or three more solid kicks to the ribs........"

 

think of how many people they could employ if they upgraded there infistructure, i was just listening to a report that says a lot of these third world nations, India, Indonesia.. and even China to some degree is out running there ability to build what is needed for people. In Indonistiesa they guy there said they have so many cars and mopeds on the streets that the people have to stand in the stores for a place to stop moving. just crazy.

here in the states weve figure out how to stall our economy so well that we dont need the shit we have
see we send it all to India, Indonesia, and even China to some degree.. LOL

That's true. There's no such thing as creative thinking in those places though, so they're doomed by their own successes.

i love this line, and its in my humble opinion very very true.
i think china will start to create at some point, and when they do we will see some amazing stuff
but the others are sort of work horses in a way
they have their entrapinures but im not so sure they can run with the Germans if you know what i mean there
but things will change, they always do. so this entire statement i made may be thrown back up in my face in 45 years.
