    This has been a near record winter here for warm temps.....it very rarely snows in Florida, even the northern portions...and when it does, it almost immediately melts upon hitting the ground. I have never been north during winter, so I really have never seen snow on the ground....:?

    Yeah that is by far the best thing about christmas these days. Just to see my younger family shine up like suns for small toycars and dolls are priceless. :D

    As far as i recall most of Florida is a rather flat state so not only is it far south but there are also no bigger/higher mountains where any snow can stay.

    You are correct. The norther border of Florida is about 200 miles south of the southern border of California even....and, I would say that 98% of Florida is between 0 and 200 feet above mean sea level....

    By the way while your on Thore have you had any croccodile visits in your yard. I have seen multiple times on TV that the younger males of crocs tend to wander around alot in the Glades area.

    Yes indeed....there are several places where the ground elevation is less than 10 feet above mean sea level for more than 10 miles (16 kilometers) inland from the coast...
