I'm actually kind of excited with the NBA tip-off on Christmas... doing my best to stay home Christmas night to enjoy all the sports.

 

The Heat/Mavs and Bulls/Lakers games on ESPN are on early. Bears/Packers are on at 5:30 and the 2 bball games on ABC are on at or around that time too.

 

Ah hell.. .Bulls/Lakers is an early game? Crap.

Bears/Packers... meh. Tho it will be interesting to watch to see if the Bears can shut out the Packers - you read about that car dealership offering free cars if the Bears can do that?

Worried about my Niners going up to Seattle. :|

 

The odds of the Bears shutting out the Pack are like 9000 to 1.

I don't think the Niners will have much trouble with the Seahawks. Niners looked pretty formidable against Pitt on Monday.

 

I think it's interesting that we both mentioned Songs In The Key Of Life in merlin's milestone. I was working on my post while you made yours so I hadn't seen yours first. Good taste bro.

 

Hah! I think it would be quite a bit higher than that, but point taken.

Don't let the early season 16-point victory fool you... Niners won by 16 points because of a kick and punt return for touchdowns by Ted Ginn. And he's recovering from an ankle injury so I'm not counting on special team TD's for the win. :|

 

So this is where the party ran off to.

 

But that's the point, you never know how a team is going to score. It can happen in many different ways. Niners have a great D and Alex Smith is better than average. The whole team is on a roll. Can't really say that about Seattle.

 

Actually, I was going to say how you were "biting my styles"... then i realized your much older than me, so I left alone.

But in all seriousness, Songs In The Key of Life was a freaking AAAMMMAZING album and continues to be today. I think the fact that both of us named it as one of our five most influential albums is a testament to just how incredibly ground-breaking it was. oh and of course, great minds think alike.

Hey Mokko. How are you?

 

I was already a big fan of Stevie when the album came out. My sister brought it home from the store one afternoon and I still recall how we just listened to it for hours on end. By the time I went to bed I had half the album memorized. It really was a phenomenal album, and like you say it still perseveres to this day, song after song after song.

 

I'm well, but in need of a caffeine hit. Back in a moment, going to french press a brew.

 

Good thing.

 

I got a bit of extra cash to indulge myself with. Can't decide whether to go with a premium beer or a premium whiskey tonight. :33:
