People in other countries would honestly be shocked and appalled at what they call education here....even in the good schools.

 

So most of the good students leave the country to study elsewhere, if they can afford it.

 

Yeah........

So at what place are you in all of this?

Okay then, stay mysterious. One thing is for sure though -- you must have gotten a fairly decent education.

A friend of mine who does a lot of Oracle programming work says most of his Indian employees are unimaginative problem solvers. He says they are intelligent technically, but can't seem to think outside the box when a situation calls for it. He says they have a tendency to do sloppy work at times for expedience' sake.

 

We don't get taught to problem solve or think for our selves.....the education system simply makes us memorize what the textbook or the teacher says.....it'a all rote learning.

 

I've had that look for a couple weeks now.

He says they're plenty knowledgeable, which is why he hires them. But yeah, rote learning.

 

Which fucks you if you actually want to learn the arts.
