    I can relate to that......I have tried to keep the AC to a minimum, but have had to run it a few days when the sun was out and the temps were in the 80's.....prefer it like it is now with daytime in the low 60's and nights in the upper 30's to lower 40's.

    For me it's often the sun that heats the apartment too hot, even if it's cool outside. I'll run the AC for a half hour to get to a normal temp, then, at night, we'll get 30 degrees and I turn the heat back to normal.

    I like to be in my cocoon with blankets, so upper 40's to lower 50's is just right for me.....the wife, now that is a different story and that is one reason why we have separate bedrooms! :p

    When she's got it that cold, I end up looking like I've been mummified. It's easier to wrap up than piss and moan about it. It has gotten to a point where we are thinking about separate bedrooms.
