What a freakin' letdown - the Oregon vs Washington game was WAY better in terms of action. I really hope Stanford makes it to the final BCS game against LSU and stomps all over them.

I don't think Stanford could stomp all over LSU. As good as Andrew Luck is, he's not good enough to make mince meat out of LSU's D. No way.

 

well im pretty sure well find out, either Stanford or OSU will probably face LSU for the championship, i dont think the SEC is anywhere near as strong as years past and this year will face some very stiff competition, i see the Pac 12 becoming the new SEC in terms of how many good teams there are and competition each week, and hopefully it will start this year with stanford winning it all

Well, maybe "stomp" is too strong of a word. But I'll take Stanford's offense vs LSU's defense over LSU's offense vs Stanford's defense any day.

I think you meant the Ducks (OU), not the Beavers (OSU). In either case, including SU, The BCS game between OU and Auburn last year showed the glaring differences between the two conferences - speed (OU) vs brute strength (AU). I'll pick brute strength every time.

I'd love to see BSU take on a worthy opponent for a change. I think they'd match up well against Stanford. I think they'd have trouble with the Tide or LSU, but I don't necessarily think they'd lose. Boise is one hell of great football team.

Stanford has the size to go up against an SEC opponent but not necessarily the speed. Boise's the other way around - enough speed but not sure if they have enough size. :|
