Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     50 miles from me there was 12 inches of snow Saturday! Ours came down as snow, but melted mostly and then turned into a rain event. The snow hit earlier than expected - we were out at a local place that serves great pancakes and had to brush a few inches of snow off the car when we got out.

    We got hit where im at throbbn. Took all kinds of trees and limbs down. Lotta damage and a lot of people without power...including myself. Been without power since saturday evening. Fucking sux!

    a lot of limbs down and power out north of here. this storm took down what Irene left behind. it made for an "interesting" commute today.

    sorry to hear your power hasn't been restored. :( any word as to when they might get power back on for you?

    They are saying they hope to have it restored by 11:59 pm wed. This wet ass snow really did a fucking number around here. Honestly there is more damage than from irene. I have personally never been so negatively affected by snow before. Glad u got away clean bro.

    the same thing north of here - more damage & power outages than Irene. Since we're on Long Island Sound, it's a few degrees warmer than inland. So what started as snow for us turned into rain.

    we were lucky.

    tonight on my way home a saw about 10 electric company repair trucks with out of state plates traveling in a convoy.

    you know it's bad when they call in trucks from far away. I think they were from South Carolina.

    Yea when we lost power during irene we had some guys from south carolina come up and get us back up and running. Christie said they were calling them back up to help out again. Maybe we can be up again tomorrow.
