    It's short rest (3 days) but given it's Game 7, it's "kitchen sink" procedures at that point. ;) Plus, I figure knowing La Russa, he'll let Carpenter go for 4 or 5 and then go all bullpen. Personally, want the Rangers to win even tho I'm a Giants fan - Cardinals kinda annoy me.

    La Russa is ok - high-strung but well-intentioned.

    It's redasses like Carpenter and Holiday make it hard for me to root. Especially Holiday - didn't like the way he gave "half effort" when he played with the Oakland A's (though i understood why, of course. ;) )
