LOL i love when you chat about your home town. it was a thought anyway,
i pictured you in your top hat and long coat with cane gently strolling out of the door and down the leaf covered fall walk, a bit of cool in the air as you wave greetings to the next door lady, the one that bakes such wonderful cookies. then on a ways to the corner, by the big old oak that has a small piece of paper on it explaining "Lost Dog". You spend just a moment looking at the picture, a delightful pedigree no doubt, then across the street your hard heels clicking a rhythm as you pace your way. just then a car approaches to the stop, you glance and exchange niceties with the driver as he calmly waits for you to clear the path. then back up the curb and into the coffee shop. The owner sees you and greets you with a shout and raised hand, "Green autumn tea with a bit of cinnamon"? he inquires. Your remove you hat and agree to his offers, picking up a scone and finding a nice table, not to near the door, but close enough that the familiar frequenters will get an opportunity to say hello, and a quick chat before they are off to there busy day.

In reality....I get dressed up...then make my way down the stairs (I use the stairs for exercise) and try not to touch the hand rail because it's debatable when the last person who touched it, bathed..........then out of the building into the world that reeks of either smoke/smog, garbage or urine.....and on rare delightful occasions all three.....on the street I will no doubt come across....not simple garbage like bottles or wrappers, but muck, cow dung, dog vomit, rain water collected into a small puddle and Darwinised enough to host a society of bacteria.........cars will be rushing along in every direction and I have to be careful not to ruin their path and direction by coming in their way and dying......then I will hail a rickshaw (local transport) and sit in it while it transports me through the bumpy roads to my destination....during this time I'll ponder on the cleanliness of the seat I'm sitting on.....for you see these rickshaw drivers are homeless....they sleep in the backseat at night....and so I sit there and wonder if the fellow drooled on it....or worse....jacked off on it....during the journey we will come across a heard of cows.
