I tried learning French once from a CD....had the colours and numbers memorized for a while....but that was really about it.

 

Do you know anyone who speaks Italian? it's easier to learn a language if you have someone to converse with.

You really need to use a language regularly to learn it. That's how we learn when we're kids.

no. no i dont, the thought was could be i could take a class when i go back to school. but yea, it would make it easier if i had someone to hear.

thats how i started learing turkish, but she spoke both turk and german, and mixed them fluently.
so she would yell at me in both, and i would think great i got a new word, then find out im saying whore in german.

I once dated an Egyptian woman who speak to her mom in a combination of English, Arabic and French when she called her on the phone. It was quite amusing.
