I speak German, English and a little French.

well its like this, get to be my age, and you learn that women, especially the ones you refer as hunny or sweaty or wife, loose there desire to do certain things after they reach a point in there life that they think its not needed any longer
so for me at 46 that day came about 1 hour after i got married and its been like that ever sense. so do you now see the relevance.

Just keep going. The older you get, the harder to learn a new language. I started to learn English at the age of 11 or 12 and I loved it.

 

so it will be about 4 times harder for me.
when you speak english do you still translate it in your head into german?

I don't when I read or write. When I speak, which I seldom do except for when I'm on vacation over there, I have to think about the sentence I want to say in German first and then translate it. Does that make sense?
