Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    You really think that?

I remember a power outage a few years ago that lasted through quite a bit of the night.....it was interesting to see the night....as it really is....arcades of darkness and moon-born shadows along with a silence that you rarely find in the city.

I wish I could. It would make things easier in some way. All the things that we usually freak out over wouldn't matter.

    How poetic!

Nothing will make them not matter.....even if they, on a cosmological level mean nothing....or will mean nothing in the future..........they still mean something to you right now.

Exactly. I mean, it would be nice to tell my bank: These bills don't matter... we're all just star stuff... these bills... money... you and me.... we're one....

They might commit me to the mental ward.

Work.... is unnecessary if you really think about it... we're just wage slaves. The resources we need are there... the energy sources like geothermal, wave, tidal and solar energy.... more than enough for the whole planet. We just need to handle our resources better, have a global management system.... fuck money!

    Bank people: Okay, shoot her.

No what I was trying to say is even if you do believe in that it still doesn't take away the importance of now................fine in the end it all means nothing...... but that only means that life isn't SUPPOSED to mean anything.........and so you have free range to pick out what you want yours to mean.

I've thought that too....fuck money.....but they you are completely disregarding the economic mechanisms that the world runs on.......personally I think what's most important in life is happiness and the main goal of life should be to attain and maintain it.........but in today's social-economic world that's really just a pipe dream......so that brings the social-economic world into question.........of course it's utter rubbish from a "natural" point of view....a view more concerned with real living than running on hamster wheels.....but people seem to want to run on hamster wheels.....and you have to give them that......because after all if you go about dictating how people should live their lives and what's wrong and what's right....then you're as bad as them.

    Thoughts?

Are you really free to choose if you're brought up in this system? The values of our society are being taught to you from an early age on. You go to school, you better get a good education, so that you can get a JOB and make lots of MONEY to survive and support a life style that you've grown into.

I mean, do you think that if people had a real choice, the choice between hamster wheel and the life in abundance, with everything free for everyone, equally, would they actually choose the hamster wheel?

You are free to choose....only if you choose something other than what you are supposed to choose.....you life isn't going to be easy (not that it's is easy in the regular way either, but you get what I mean).

Yes, but you can only choose if you know all your options, and life in abundance for everyone isn't even an option in this society... unless lots of us decide at the same time that we want it.

Of course they would....think of it as your OCD clients.....they use routes etc. to limit their exposure to reality and control their little worlds........it's the same thing here, except the society/government elaborately constructs the maze of social life for people to happily run through.

People need boundaries, they need definitions and limits and hierarchies.....that's what religion gives them, it's what government gives them, it's what their jobs give them.

Do you think they'd want it......and I mean really want it, understanding all the implications?

But who says without religion, government and economical limitations there wouldn't be boundaries? When I think of my clients the biggest reason for their sickness, for their unability to cope, is our current society.

Well let's see. A life in abundance. Never having to worry about money again Getting everything for free. Most work taken over by technology. No wars. No poverty. The possibility to spend your life in a fulfilling way. Hmmmm. What's not to like?

i think we should get rid of money, and everyone just works for the necessary things u need to survive..

like if u have a good job u get good things provided for u, but if u have a shitty meaningless job u get shitty things provided for u, and if u dont want to work at all u get the bare minimum u need to survive..
