That is what I figured when I could not connect with it....:shock:

 

Did a lot of tree pruning yesterday and today I chipped/shredded the limbs into mulch for the bush and flower beds. I have an 18 horse chipper/shredder that take limbs up to 3 inches in diameter..........guess you do not have too many trees up your way that needs pruning.

 

damn, nice shredder there Thore.

none up here, tree line is about 300 miles to the south of here.

 

Here's what I wrote at 1 a.m. last night...

"Weirdest thing just happened: I was sittin' in the corner chair watching TV, my 2 dogs sitting in front of me on the floor. Suddenly my door opens and a 19-20 year-old guy walks right in. He sees me and my dogs, says "Oh... excuse me, I'm very sorry..." and leaves. Fast. I got up quickly and walked out my door (I'm on the 2nd floor) and there was nobody anywhere, and no sounds of walking or cars starting or anything. Poof. He was gone. I made a police report. We'll see what happens. He was wearing an oversize hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, covering his forehead. I would have liked to have "gotten to know him better." Except the dogs would have gotten to him first. They're quicker than I am.?

So the only trees you could have there is plastic trees

 

They helped by not getting in the way.......the engine noise and ground vibration had them a bit spooked, so they kept their distance.

Later I found out there have been a couple break-ins in the other buildings. This is a super safe neighborhood - there are police from 2 suburbs all over the place, because there is another suburb on the other side of 8 Mile Road. Most people who try anything around here don't get away with it.

EDIT: I should add this guy was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, with the hood pulled halfway down his face. He didn't want to be recognized.

I'm curious what kind of trees you get 300 miles to the south, Inuk.

 

not sure there pm, has cooled off a lot.

I think they were pine trees there pm.

 

My two dogs would be all over anybody that came thru a door in my house, especially if I did not let them in....now, when someone comes to the door, I make them wait until a put the dog in another room and shut the door....

 

Currently the temp is 92f/33c with 60% relative humidity which equals a heat index of 102f/39c.......it is 72f in my den.
