Okay so I was looking at a pack of ice cream....just a regular pack of strawberry ice cream and the picture on top was of a perfect scoop sitting in a lovely waffle bowl with fresh strawberries sprinkled on top......... despite the fact the the content inside s just plain strawberry ice cream and nothing else......why do we need an idealized image or concept of it then, philosophically speaking.

you know....actually it is about selling......if you had a picture of a fat unshapely blob of pink ice cream on the box people would not buy it.....why? ....it's exactly what they are getting and they know it's exactly what they are getting......yet they'll buy the other one.
