Hey Inuk, been busy as hell this a.m. here too. I just walked away from for a bit because of a idiot that pissed me off. I get sooo tired of telling the same people the same thing over and over and over again. Sheesh.

 

tell me about it there bama, I had one idiot ask me to fill in a hole with a Loader. this hole, took me 12 bucket loads with a Loader, it was like putting a tablespoon of sugar in a cup of coffee. I told him we need a dump truck to do it properly as the rock pile was over a mile away and took me ages to use the Loader.

fun stuff.

heh unfortunately it was the Contract Head. typical pencil pusher, doesn't know the Equipment and real world applications of what they can move.

oh yeah, sounds busy. I plan on just taking it easy. try to spend some time with my GF, we haven't spent as much time together this week, been so busy with work.

 

I'm far from a pencil pusher or a lead so no, didn't see how that could pretain to me.

Sounds nice. Sometimes I'm actually glad it does rain on Sundays, it makes me just sit around and watch the tube with the wife and get rested up. Something I hardly ever take time and do.

damn, I know what you mean, some weeks I have to work 6 days a week so it's good to take it easy on the weekend.

 

It's been a while since I've had to work the weekend thank God. Had to work a few crazy hour days the past few weeks but no weekends. Some of upgrades I do I have to come in at like 2 or 4 a.m. to do and get off earlier in the afternoon. I don't mind it so bad as long as they're not in the same week.

 

damn, hope you can get some time off and not get any calls when you are on call. sucks when you are sleeping good and have to go in for 20 or 30 minutes. takes me forever to fall back asleep again.

 

I start next Friday, hopefully it'll be a slow week.

yeah, me too. Once my brain finally starts going in the middle of the night it's hard to turn if off again. Depending on what time it is sometimes I just go ahead and get up and turn the coffee on.

Gotta take care of something in the server room, back in 5.

 

yeah I hate being on call too.

no doubt man, the other night I was sleeping, my GF woke me up around 4am dreaming, she asked me "where's my arm? where's my arm?""

I told "damn girl it's right there" then she went back to sleep! lol
