Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     OK, as I understand it, when one goes septic there is an invasive microbial(infection) that doesn't react well to antibodies. The infection starts to spread throughout and sort of turns the body against itself. The harder your immune system works the worse you get. A lot like taking one step forward, two steps back. Once the major organs are affected, you simply start to shut down systemically. The symptoms are what makes it hard to diagnose. Without proper diagnosis you could possibly do more harm than good. If anyone can contribute anymore than that please feel free because I don't claim to be an expert, I'm just going off of what I have encountered with residents in the past.

    PM, what is your drip for? Is it an antibiotic, if so, what dose? It may help others understanding. BTW anytime you have to endure an IV antibiotic, you are dealing with some seriously nasty bug.

    There are 2 antibiotics. I do one of them twice a day (Vancomycin, 250 ml - that's the big one), and the other (invanz, 100 ml) once a day.
