People at the store who saw it were staring at the IV tube taped to my arm. I look like a hospital escapee.

how is the IV treatments coming along there pm?

 

Better be a hospital escapee than a asylum escapee if you see what I mean. No offense there. But hope you feel good, pm. Seriously.

 

The nurse came over this afternoon and changed the dressing where the tube goes into my arm. She took a few blood samples too. Whee.

 

oh yeah getting there on the road to recovery pm? great to hear that.

 

The nurse visits are also supposed to be covered by the hospital charity program. I have so many hospital bills that are waiting for charity approval it's ridiculous. It's almost too much to think about.

 

They have to clear out the toxic fluid so the surgeon can get his paws in there and rip out the bad part. That ball will get rolling starting the 10th. But the infection has to be as cleaned out as it can be.

 

The reason they have me all IV'ed is because the fluid is toxic, and if it sloshes around too much in there it's fatal. I'm making fun of it, but what I have actually has a mortality rate.

I hope I hear from the hospital charity program soon, but I don't know when. And, yeah, it is scary.
