    Automatic transmission issues as it turns out. Long story, but should be OK now....I was delayed as I had to go to the repair place to talk directly to the mechanic......just needs a seal replaced that was causing s slow leak onto the header collector. My son described the slight smoke as whitish, so I was initially looking at the cooling system yesterday, but found transmission fluid residue on the bottom of the engin mounts and other places. I could not time the transmission fluid dip stick though and the manual that came with that damn foreign car was no help. Then my son said, "Oh, the car takes a few seconds to start moving after you put it in gear." :shock: Well, why did you not tell me that!....:lol: kids! Oh well, the seal replacement should only run about $300.

    That is the first rain for me in 3.5 weeks......and much of Florida has sandy soils. Today, I had no runoff and now there are no puddles left....:D
