The Attention Deficit Disorder Thread

becouse i eat fast food almost every meal i end up with the cashiers sorta knowing me. they even know what im going to buy.
and for some reason that sort of bothers me. i get a bit embarrassed as if i feel like "yea i cant cook and this is the only way i can eat"

but i have gotten very good at eating at restaurants by myself, something ive never done veyr well in the past.

Thanks Grimm. I am on an upward slope. I've got things going and am feeling better about other things. I am not better but I am taking steps to get that way.

that is the way to do it brother, you just simply dig your heels in, decide this is as far down as i choose to go and the turn about and climb. and it never hurts to get a bit of help if you can find it.

well im a bit uneasy tonight.
i have an interview tomorrow morning.
its a pretty big deal
and i am just a tiny bit un eased
they are not going to discuss my work
my abilities
or my goals.
they want to discus me, who i am.

so you can see how that can be unsettling.

I've been eating alone in restaurants for so long that the idea of whether or not I find it comfortable isn't even the equation. It's just routine.

 

Just encountered this scenario:

Guy in pickup truck offers woman on foot a ride. She politely declines.

He says: Why?

She says: I don't trust you.

He says: How can you not trust me? You don't even know me!

Does anyone else see the flaw in his logic?

 

i think im about there now. i have no issue with it. when this all started i was like, hmm awkward, what do i do. now i take my ipod, read the paper on it, surf the Internet, basically the same thing im doing now. and wait. and then i do tip well. i always get great service, im a bit lucky like that.

so i get what your saying, its only not normal for so long then it is the normal
i imagine there will come a time if this keeps up were it will be not normal to have my wife with me.

 

I am getting help from a place that does sliding scale payments.
