Nothing towards you, just a little frustation of members that's left because of the shit around here of late. Shouldn't of even said anything.

Joshiepants sent me a pm, I told him the same as the past few years..if you need me yes, if not no, just don't want to disappoint if I don't manage my team right.

 

I understand. I like all facets of the NFL now, even the now ubiquitous fantasy angle that, at first, had me asking why touchdowns weren't worth 7 points all around.

Staying on the topic of fantasy / stats, are you also just a casual observer of baseball, seeing as that was the topic of discussion last night? (meaning: do you even care what ERA means, and what it calculates, just so long as the Cubs win?)

 

You are our designated 'alternate'. No problem.

I shall table that thought, and if need be, I'll only mention it again if there is an odd-ball number of teams before whenever the deadline / start of the league transpires.

 

Honestly I did enjoy doing it, it was just the end of the season I wasn't able to trade and be competitive. If you'll remember last year there was several people that did the same. Ended up disappointing everyone that was.

 

I don't know if you remember me suggesting that we two should join a standard CBS League where it was BCS rules, where I am way less experienced, and then we could also co-own a standard NFL fantasy team.
But that means even a small part of commitment to two more leagues that neither of may even want to be involved in, and I don't know if I'll have such free time to test the waters with such a convoluted idea.

Just as a one-time aside, bama: have you ever managed a college football fantasy team?

I'm disappointed with them bexause they left, not the reason for it. Most of the 'why' of it is just ridiculous.

I know what all the stats mean, I gambled on sports for many years and having that info seemd imperative at the time. Turns out it didn't though. When your luck turns south ERA means nothing. Now I just sit back and enjoy watching the game unfold without all that folderol getting in the way.

I do remember yes. I looked at it last year when you suggested it. It listed all divisions of college, which is alot. That's what I has said last year, I don't anything about anyone less than division I. Too many players in lesser divisions that can make an impact that throw everything out of kilter.
