Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     It was a mo fo - a straight line wind event, often worse than tornadoes. We get plenty of that up here and the storms can be scary as hell.

    We've been in a 4-week drought - so the bone-dry trees fell easily in that wind. There was no "bend" in them. They just snapped.

    there were a huge storm in my town today, almost 80mm of rain, flooded streets and shops!

    I didn't notice much here though.. just a few drops of rain!
