    How do you figure? I see no connection between poverty and ignorance. Granted, alot of impoverished people are ignorant in a general sense but there are plenty of ignorant people who aren't impoverished at all. Give me an example of your hypothosis and we'll go from there.

    Well most of the world's poverty is in developing countries, who's economies and people were largely at one point (or even now) exploited by developed countries.....thus and example of ignorance from the developed countries in the inability to see that though they may profit now eventually it'll be bad for the Earth. (selfishly not caring for the ruin of others might also be termed as a type of ignorance).

    The biggest problem in the world and especially in the developing countries is population....they have too many people and not enough, jobs, money, cities etc. increase in population is largely an effect of ignorance and religious beliefs in the place of rational thinking.

    Ignorance has nothing to do with avarice. Greedy people (or governments or whatever) don't care about the results of their actions. That's not ignorance, that's arrogance.
    Can't argue with that. I agree wholeheartedly.
