I'm 35, turning 36 next month.

GF is turning 24 on August 15th. we are not getting married right away, I'm just going to start saving up for her Ring soon. as I know I do want to ask her eventually.

 

As a dress watch I'd go the gold and silver one its a bit garish but theres just too much black i the oher one in my opinion

Oh and congrats on the upcoming nuptials too Inuk....does she have a sister that would like to move o a warmer climate

 

The black is a little too busy for my taste, but it's still a nice timepiece. The gold and silver is elegant, I'd likely go that route.


If you're really serious about a fine time piece check into Tag Heuer. They make beautiful wrist watches.

Tag Hauer is nice, but I like Swiss Military too.

You know, at first I thought he was slightly entertaining, with the whole Asian act... but then he just kept on going and being part Asian, I just got real tired of the thought that some non-Asian guy kept acting like some "fresh off the boat" Chinese guy because he thought it was entertaining and loved the attention.

so yeah, he's on my ignore list now.

Had a look at their website and their watches don't really do all that much for me to be honest The Bulova i've had since 1985 and witht the exception of having to replace a winding mechanism its been a good watch

 

the Swiss Military watch I had was fucking deadly.

but I like the Citizen and Movado watches.

 

IWC'S are status symbols.
