    I have a soft spot for the disabled and crazy. :yup:
    My mother took in a cat that had been badly abused. He would spit and bite us and his fur was shaggy and dull. It took a lot of love and patience, but in the end he was the sweetest cat ever, with rich, shiny black fur. Of course he still had his crazy fits every now and then and scratched us bloody, but what I'm saying is even if they have a history of abuse, most of them can learn to trust again.

    And that better not be an empty promise! :D

    Yes it is very true. In China, there are dogs bred to be eaten - it's considered a great delicacy and in some twisted interpretation, it shows how some Chinese owners "love" their dogs. :pukey:

    Koreans are also well-known dog eaters and is considered a summer seasonal treat. :no:

    But you can see the same thing here.....cows are considered "holy" and so can't be eaten or killed......yet they roam the streets (yes city streets) and feed of garbage with nobody caring a cent.
