I was diagnosed with depression in my teens. I've struggled with it all my adult life. I don't allow non-factors and things I can't control to rule my days. The consequences are devestaing.

Thats your experiences, but in a general sense the "don't give a shit" mote rarely works on people with psychotic issues, and is the worst advice you can give them.
