So, can I bitch about my co-worker for a minute?

Here is the cake. Enjoy.

We were having a team meeting today and doing some brainstorming for new ideas and views on how we might improve things and achieve better work conditions for us and our clients. This is fun, for all of us except one co-worker who is really insecure and suffers from low self-esteem, which makes progress really hard as she takes every fucking thing personally. For example, if someone had an idea about her department and offered her a suggestion, she would not see it as a chance or an offer but as an attack on her work. She starts to cry all the time, and it's really awkward because everyone is just pussy-footing around her. And I'm talking about a woman in her mid-fifties! It's very frustrating. Plus, since I work closest with her, she is always pissed off with me for not taking her side or protecting her or whatever. Gah. Just.... gah.

But how will I read it then. :-|

 

I thought about keeping a journal a few times.....but I was much more comfortable just ranting in my head.

 

Uh. Why would you want to read the depressing tales of a 36 year old single woman?

 

I started to write them when I was 12. I got one for my 12th birthday, one of those cute little girly ones, with a crying harlequin on the cover and a little golden lock and key.
Then I stopped some time in my early twenties.

 

I am amused by such things.

 

I don't think I ever even started.....although I did occasionally get piss drunk and send a five page rant to a friend via e-mail.
