Not a great deal had a Workplace Health and Safety Inspector come through ....that was fun

Especially after a big argument with my boss...who was complaining about the amount of paperwork I was generating writing out procedures for every work activity .....He didn't take too well my telling him I was doing it to cover his arse

 

Did you tell your psychotic boss you need to take that trip to Germany for the big international, uh, Workplace Health and Safety conference?

Eh, bosses are always under stress, especially when government inspectors make surprise visits.

I'm about to pop over to my parents to be fed with lots of heavy German food.

 

WHSO inspectors can turn up unnannounced ...I had a 7 day notification that he was coming so I was able to encourage my co-workers to wear their PPE Mind you it didn't help that our workshop manager cut open his forehead when an angle grinder he was using kicked back ....there was a lot of blood too ....serves him right for not listening to me

 

It's going good, I'm enjoying a long weekend. And next weekend is going to be a long one, too. And after that, one more week of work and my three week vacation starts. So, yep, things are good.

 

Sounds like you need a nurse at your workplace.

No Automotive Crash Repairs the dopey idiot had a pair of safety glasses on whilst working under a car grinding a welded seam. Oh and he has modified his grinder by removing the guard and handle (which carries a 200 demerit point fine...1 point-$100) about the only thing that saved him was the fact he was using a sanding disk and not a cutting blade . He still had internal as well as external stitches :2cent:

Its currently 7:30pm Saturday over here ..having a lazy weekend over here although if I can get the inclination I will do some repair work on the 8x4 trailer I bought but its not urgent and given thats its starting to really cool down here I will probably sleep in tomorrow at the moment i'm deciding what to have for dinner I bpoght some frozen Meatlovers Pizza that i'm going to put in the oven

hahah... it's 2:35AM. I'll probably go to bed in an hour after I'm done uploading a few vids to upload later today.

It's raining in San Francisco all weekend, so I'll just be doing a lot of cleaning up around the apartment. Supposed to go shopping for wedding gifts with a girly friend in the afternoon, maybe grab dinner with her and maybe get lucky if she's in the mood.
