    My sister copied her itunes library to a flash drive so she could plug it into her car's media player but it won't play the songs. Only through her nano. I didn't realize itunes was proprietary.

    I had her right click on random songs she's downloaded and check the properties to see what the file type is? I assume it's mp3 or mp4 but properties doesn't show up so you can't check the file type. When she checked properties on the whole library it said 'open with itunes.' Oh well. She can plug her nano into the media player and listen to them that way.

    She just bought a new Nissan Juke btw.
