I hadn't given supper much thought until you mentioned it, but after careful - and somewhat instantaneous - consideration, I believe I'll fire up the barbie and grill up some porkchops. Got some bakers I can toss on the grill too.

Beauty is all around us. Expecially at swimming pools.

 

now your talking, damn that sounds good, im still hungry to after that half a dinner i ate.

that was the point i was thinking of. its strange if you look hard you can find it but from what ive seen of jacks world, i can see his point for sure, i dont know if he has a lot of nature, or pools, or things that i take for granted every day. i wonder if we switched how well i would be able to adjust and fit in. i know i wouldnt 'want' to live there. and i know he sells the cheap seats to, there is more to it, but i dont know what.

I don't think your surroundings really determine how you view things.....for eg. if you are surrounded by beauty you could very well take it for granted.....or...if you live in filth you can very well have a profound perception of beauty.

No, it's amusing at first.......

Day 1 : oh look they pee in the street....how curious.....

Day 2 : oh look the cops are like pot belled pigs and take bribes freely.....how interesting....

Day 3 :there are cows on the road.....let me see how many there are........

Day 4 :the manholes are open deathtraps....it's like an obstacle course..weeee......

Day 5 : ...and there are no crossing laws you have to dash across the street and hope that you won't be run over.....this is like that game Frogger!!!! woo hoo


Day 6 : so......it never really ends here does it....or gets better...

I think alot of it is cultural too. We're fed ideals from the earliest days of our lives based on societal norms. Much of which is further reinforced by whatever media we're exposed too. And alot of that is created artificially.

 

Getto skills won't help you with these people.

True, but I always believe that they can affect you in many ways.....some people might naturally accept them while others might rebel against them......so it really depends.
