    What do you find beautiful in life?


    I was just looking out of the window and thinking about how there is nothing truly beautiful in life....and everything we do find beautiful is just a rationalized perception of reality.

    I mean nothing is really beautiful...nature isn't beautiful...it's cruel and vicious....it's a struggle to survive.........for every sapping that germinates or animal that is born not even half will reach maturity......what is beautiful then.........the ones who died or the ones who survived at the cost of others?............our lives aren't beautiful.....they are a mindless struggle to death............yet we crave life...no matter how miserable it us and never succumb to death.


    This isn't a depressed thought.....it's more a pondering on whether life is really beautiful or whether we delude ourself into thinking it is as part of a primitive survival mechanism.

    well without all those things you mentioned the idea of beauty couldnt exist, maybe we see beauty in nature when things are peaceful because it so often isnt?
