Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I actually did that many years ago - well it was an onion ring. It stayed up there for like 2 months at my first job. ;)

Hrm... well it's a lengthy story - the shortest explanation was my graphic artist and I were working a lot of late nights/early mornings and we used the onion ring to symbolize our struggle through the nights.

I could give you the full lengther, but it's a really long read. :22:

    :31: fine.

Right out of college I got a job as an editor for a new electronics magazine. It was a skeleton team of 5 people - all of us were right out of college, so the company got away working us all night to make deadlines.

I was working on a big section with another newly hired graphic artist and for like 2 weeks, we worked and basically slept at the office. We were slowly losing our sanity and it came to a zenith on the 2nd to last day of the deadline - we went to Jack In The Box to get fast food and in our french fries, was a single onion ring. We pretty much lost it and for the rest of the night, we couldnt help but laugh ourselves silly over that stupid onion ring. Funny enough, it was that silly moment of levity that brought up our morale and we finished to make our deadline. ;) And we kept that onion ring on there for two months - even the night cleaning crew left it alone. :lmao:

Thus, endeth the tale of the nailed onion ring. :yup:

Humor is one of the biggest resources you can have. I keep telling my co-workers: it is important to have a good laugh every now and then. Sometimes, when the topic is heavy and the discussion is heated, I drop a silly comment and it actually helps to find relief for a moment.

Oh I'm a big believer in having moments of levity even in the most serious moments. That and it's fun doing physical comedy in the middle of a company meeting. :lmao:
