I have to agree with the above statement.

Though frankly I'm on the fence about the age issue.

 

I woke up today to find a sexy Brazilian girl eating a banana in my kitchen. Turns out my flatmate was too lazy to do his share of the cleaning so he hired a helping hand. I can only imagine why he chose this particular person. I'm thinking of keeping her on.

 

First thing I thought of was the old Groucho Marx joke...

I moved back to London recently and I'm really struggling to get regular work right now. I'm trying to join a band at the moment so I can at least afford to regularly drown my sorrows.

On the subject of a girls age, I'm 28 and I don't think I'd go lower than 20 now personally. I'm on and off with a 24 year old and she makes me feel old enough. It freaks me out a bit when as soon as a young celeb turns legal her pics pop up everywhere on sites like this.

 

Some days I feel as if I'm unemployable. Alot of companies don't want to hire middle aged white guys like me in non-skilled positins because we're too intelligent. That is actually true. I have physical limitations that prevent me from pursing any my trades, not that construction is booming anymore.

Hope you find some success with your music, it's good for the soul.

I know exactly what you mean. I think a lot of companies, particularly in non-skilled fields love to hire young, dumb yes men. If they could train chimps to build a sturdy house they'd do it. My old office job which I quit (because I was going mad there) was full of those types. They were all incredibly irritating and stupid, unable to have anything even resembling an interesting conversation. It was like a zoo for mentally challenged animals.

Anyway, I hope you catch a break sometime soon.
