    The 2 pics (merged together, hence the ugly black gradient :p) were taken in my home town. I'd rather not disclose the location, but there are additional pics posted here: http://forum.phun.org/showpost.php?p=5538814&postcount=1116

    Estimates of the damage were tentatively set at ~$20M-30M for the three surrounding counties, but I guess they'll be doing more accurate estimates in the coming weeks, as some areas are still (!) under water.

    "He [County Emergency Services Director] said federal authorities were already in ProperNoun County sorting out what appears to be about $10.2 million in damage to public works there, including roads, buildings, bridges, and sewage and electric facilities."

    The graph above, from the U.S. Geological Survey, shows the gauge height at the ProperNoun dam, from when the National Weather Service first began posting flood warnings for the ProperNoun River, through the first emergency releases on April 27, through this afternoon.


    TL;DR: It's in my hometown.

    If you want anything else, or a different font or whatever, ask away! It literally took me 23 seconds to change all three of those (23 secs total)...I didn't count, but the song I was listening to ("Oh Bo" by Bo Burnham--awesome song!) advanced 23 seconds...lol.

    I'm half tempted to use the gray-scale one as my own sig...lol. Thanks for reintroducing me to her!

    @Pussy Lover, since the images are already uploaded you can skip the upload procedure completely so it's really simple for you.

    Decide which image that you want to use as your sig, quote the message it's in and the image code will be right there for you to copy. Then just paste it into your Edit Signature window.

    Well, it's technically possible...but you might have to hire a robot to do it. I'm not sure if I can focus on creating my computer long enough to create a gif...it'll be rather hard. Er, difficult :)

    *dingdingding* She gets it! In all honesty, it shouldn't be hard at all. If I can get time to do it tonight, I'll have it to you then. If not, either tomorrow or Saturday for sure. The only potential problem is if there's a file size restriction on animated avatars, it might be hard to get it that small and still have decent quality.
